When you are insulted…

Ordinary people, empowered by an extraordinary God, building a community of Christ in West Orange County

Tim and Ruth Albright are both missionary kids. Ruth grew up in the Philippines and Malaysia. Tim grew up in Mali, West Africa. They both graduated from Nyack College in Nyack, NY and left for Burkina Faso in 1986, where they served with (Compassion and Mercy Associates) CAMA Services for 23 years. They have three children: Michael (married to Rachel), Rachelle, and Andrew. Michael and Rachelle are attending Toccoa Falls College. They are both pursuing a career in teaching. Andrew, the youngest, is in grade ten and attending the Evangelical Christian School. In West Africa Tim and Ruth were involved in social ministries such as: water purification and wells, famine relief, education, health, gardening, and small businesses. Each of these domains enabled the people of West Africa to live a better life, but also showed them God’s love in a tangible way. Tim and Ruth are now settled in Fort Myers (since August 2009), where Tim is working for ECHO (Educational Concern for Hunger Organization).
