Southwest Church is partnering with the Roper YMCA Family Center to be a drop off center for Operation Christmas Child. And we need your help! Deborah Thompson is our coordinator and we need your support in a few ways:
- Pack a shoebox for a boy or girl
- Volunteer one day of collection week (Nov 16-22) to pack the shoeboxes in boxes.
- Come to our truck packing party on Sunday, November 22 right after church to back the boxes in the truck
- We could also use worker-bee volunteers to help with picking up the big boxes and delivering them to the YMCA and assorted other odds and ends! Call Deborah at (407) 654-9162.
This is a great opportunity to bring the love of Jesus to kids around the world!
